‘Salman doesn’t have guts to speak in front of his father Salim Khan’

'Salman Khan doesn't have the guts to speak in front of his father Salim Khan, he respects him a lot,' says 'Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai' actor Aasif Sheikh

Actor Aasif Sheikh known for ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai’ has worked with Salman Khan in ‘Karan Arjun’. He played a negative character in the film and in a recent interview, he opened up on his bonding with Salman Khan and his father, legendary writer Salim Khan. Aasif recalled how he would visit Salman’s farmhouse and would specially spend time with Salim Khan. He called him such an evolved person that he always looked forward to spending time with him. Aasif revealed that he’s been a great friend with Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. He said during a chat with Hindi Rush, “Salim uncle is a very evolved person. Sometimes I used to go to Salman Khan’s farm and would spend time with Salim uncle. Unki baatein itni interesting aur real hoti thi. He has an amazing sense of humour. Woh humko joh baatein bataate the, aur experiences share karte the. Atul Agnihotri and I have been great friends; we would especially sit with Salim uncle. I have learnt a lot from him; he had shared how Amitabh Bachchan was cast in his first film and so many things. Those lessons and conversations have come in handy all this time. He told me one thing that there are two ways of giving something to someone. Either you show off and give or either you hide and give. That says a lot about a person.”He added further, “Another thing I remember always was that, Salim uncle told us if you want to judge a person, see how old are his friends, his servants, and his phone number are.” During the chat, he added how Salman respects his father. “He is a big critic of Salman. He says things on the face, never sugarcoats, because his son is a star. But Salim uncle is a big star in his own sense. Mujhe yaad hai jab Salman naye star bane toh he used to be in front of his father and fumble. Salman doesn’t have the guts to speak in front of him. Salman respects his father a lot.”
