Rohit Shetty starts shooting for ‘Golmaal 5'; Priyamani joins Ajay Devgn’s fun squad

Rohit Shetty has started filming ‘Golmaal 5’ in Mumbai on Feb 23. Ajay Devgn joins tomorrow. Priya Mani is on board. Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade return, along with Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra. Akshay Kumar rumoured as villain.

Rohit Shetty’s next film, ‘Golmaal 5’, is one of the most talked-about upcoming movies. The ‘Golmaal’ series, led by Ajay Devgn, has always made fans laugh with its funny jokes, quirky characters, and trademark comedy style. The excitement for this fifth part is at its peak among movie lovers. According to recent reports, Rohit Shetty, who was in the news recently after gunshots were fired near his house, has already begun shooting for ‘Golmaal 5’. The filming reportedly started quietly on February 23 in Mumbai.

Ajay Devgn to join ‘Golmaal 5’ shoot soon

As per Variety India, Ajay has not yet joined the rest of the cast on set. The report mentions that he is expected to begin filming tomorrow, February 25. Rohit Shetty, however, kicked off the shoot with the main cast members present on the first day. Interestingly, the report also states that actress Priya Mani has come on board for the film. Known for her roles in ‘Jawan’ and ‘The Family Man’, Priya Mani has already started shooting, though details about her character remain a mystery. The first schedule of the film is expected to continue for about a month.

Returning cast adds excitement to ‘Golmaal 5’

‘Golmaal 5’ is set to bring back Ajay Devgn along with his gang Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, and Shreyas Talpade. Earlier reports suggested that Akshay Kumar has also joined the cast. Reportedly, he will play the antagonist, and his clash with Ajay and the team will be one of the film’s biggest highlights. However, the filmmakers have not yet made an official announcement about his inclusion. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan was rumoured to return for the film, but it appears she hasn’t signed on for Rohit Shetty’s project.

Supporting cast to bring more laughter in ‘Golmaal 5’

Actors Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, and Ashwini Kalsekar are also returning to the franchise, promising another round of high-energy comedy and chaos. As per the report, the makers are aiming to release ‘Golmaal 5’ in the first half of 2027. Go to Source
