Reese on Jen’s love life: ‘She is not pining for Brad Pitt’

Reese Witherspoon reveals Jennifer Aniston's equation with ex-husband Brad Pitt amid new romance with Jim Curtis

Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon is spilling the tea about her longtime friend Jennifer Aniston’s love life. Shortly after Jen made her romance with her new boyfriend Jim Curtis, Instagram official, Reese’s candid chat with Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast soon went viral. In the chat, Reese got candid about Jen’s relationship with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, setting the record straight on long-standing public perceptions.

“She’s not pining for Brad Pitt,” Reese said while emphasising that Aniston “isn’t who people think she is – like, holding onto old things. She’s not holding onto old things.”She went on to confirm that Brad did attend Jen’s 50th birthday party back in February 2019, saying, “One of the biggest testaments I can say to what a wonderful person she is – people from her teenage years, people from her 20s, people who work in her home, every ex-husband, ex-boyfriend was there.”

Reese says Jen is ‘very different’

Witherspoon went on to describe Aniston as “a high spiritual-integrity person” and confirmed that the ‘Friends’ star is “not a burner of bridges.” She also admitted that while she shares a similar outlook, she and Aniston are “very different people.”

After months of dating rumours, Jen on Monday, went public with her romance with her new hypnotist boyfriend. This is the actress’ first highly publicised romance after her divorce from Justin Theroux in 2018. Jen was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.
