Ranveer Singh applauds Arsenal on ‘'historic season' despite Champions League defeat to PSG : 'Proud of the boys'

Passionate Arsenal supporter Ranveer Singh has once again demonstrated his unwavering loyalty to the North London club. Despite Arsenal falling short against PSG in the UEFA Champions League final, the actor took to social media to applaud the team’s efforts and celebrate what he described as a memorable campaign.

Ranveer Singh’s fan moment

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Ranveer praised Arsenal for their resilience and fighting spirit throughout the season. His message read, “Proud of the boys. Fought like lions! Couldn’t get any closer in a game of such fine margins. Congratulations to my Arsenal family on a historic season. And….the best is yet to come!” The actor’s post quickly resonated with fellow Arsenal fans, reflecting the optimism surrounding the club’s future despite the setback.Ranveer’s affection for Arsenal is no secret. The actor has repeatedly expressed his admiration for the club and often celebrates their successes publicly. Following Arsenal’s long-awaited Premier League triumph earlier this season, he shared a heartfelt reflection on how his connection with the team began more than two decades ago. Recalling the influence of legendary manager Arsène Wenger and Arsenal’s iconic “Invincibles” era, Ranveer wrote:”Arsenal is not a family I was born into. It is a family I chose. After being mesmerised seeing Arsene Wengers ‘Invincibles’ play the beautiful game in its most exquisite form, I became a lifelong Arsenal fan. That was in 2001, I was 16. And I chose well. What style, what flair, what a dazzling club!”

PSG retain European crown

The UEFA Champions League final delivered high drama as Paris Saint-Germain successfully defended their title by overcoming Arsenal F.C.. After a tense 1-1 stalemate that extended through extra time at Budapest’s PuskĂ¡s ArĂ©na, the match was decided by penalties.PSG kept their composure in the shootout to secure a 4-3 victory, while Arsenal’s hopes were dashed when defender Gabriel MagalhĂ£es missed the decisive spot-kick.Although Arsenal ended their 22-year wait for a Premier League title this season, the club’s pursuit of a first-ever Champions League trophy remains unfinished. The English champions started the final brightly and even took the lead, raising hopes of a historic European triumph before PSG mounted their comeback and eventually prevailed. For supporters like Ranveer, however, the campaign remains one to celebrate, with belief that even greater achievements may lie ahead for the club.
