Ranveer meets Mohan Bhagwat, pays tribute to Hedgewar

Amid Dhurandhar 2 success, Ranveer Singh visits RSS headquarters in Nagpur, meets Mohan Bhagwat; pays tribute to founder Hedgewar

Ranveer Singh, who is currently riding high on the success of his film Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, made a quiet visit to Nagpur on Friday, where he met Mohan Bhagwat at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters. Ranveer later visited the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, where he paid tributes to RSS founder K. B. Hedgewar and second sarsanghchalak M. S. Golwalkar.

Ranveer Singh, who is currently riding high on the success of his film Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, made a quiet visit to Nagpur on Friday, where he met Mohan Bhagwat at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters.

Low-key visit, tight security

According to a Lokmat report, the actor’s visit was kept highly confidential. He reportedly arrived at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport around 4 pm, accompanied by four others.From the airport, Ranveer headed straight to the RSS headquarters in Mahal, where he held a meeting with Bhagwat. During the interaction, the actor is said to have discussed his film and also gained insights into the organisation’s functioning and service initiatives.He spent nearly one-and-a-half hours at the headquarters before moving to another key location.

Pays tribute at Hedgewar memorial

Ranveer later visited the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, where he paid tributes to RSS founder K. B. Hedgewar and second sarsanghchalak M. S. Golwalkar.During the visit, RSS representatives briefed him about the lives of the two leaders and the historical significance of the memorial. He also interacted with several RSS functionaries and learnt about RSS-affiliated cultural body Chitrabharati.

Quick exit, speculation follows

Following his visit, the actor returned to the airport and flew back to Mumbai around 8:15 pm. The secrecy surrounding the visit has sparked speculation, especially at a time when Dhurandhar continues to perform strongly.Interestingly, Ranveer had earlier extended greetings to the RSS on the occasion of Vijayadashami during its centenary year, thanking the organisation for its work over the past 100 years and expressing hope that it would continue to inspire in the future.
