After an extensive shooting schedule and a whirlwind promotional campaign, actor Ranbir Kapoor has seemingly taken a break from the world of ‘Ramayana’ and dived back into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’.The actor was recently spotted in Mumbai sporting a moustache one again, prompting fans to speculate that he has resumed work on the much-awaited romantic drama. In recent months, the actor has been maintaining a clean-shaven appearance for his turn as Lord Rama in ‘Ramayana’. However, en route to the USA for the film’s grand trailer launch at Comic-Con, Ranbir was seen sporting a rugged, bearded look.

While his transformed appearance quickly caught fans’ attention, it was another detail that won hearts. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Ranbir’s phone wallpaper featured a photograph of his late father, legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. The post was one of Rishi’s selfies of himself raising his glass while flying to Dubai. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after a two-year battle with leukemia. Since then, Ranbir has frequently remembered him in interviews and family celebrations, while his mother, Neetu Kapoor, has also continued to share fond memories of the late star.

Ranbir’s latest sighting comes at a busy phase in his career. The actor recently completed promotional commitments for ‘Ramayana’ that is currently in production. While the team has wrapped up work on Part 1, the director recently revealed that portions of Part 2 are still in the works, with the epic Rama vs Ravana climax still to be filmed.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the epic stars Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The first instalment is slated for a Diwali 2026 release.At the same time, Ranbir is also juggling ‘Love and War’, which reunites him with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal and is among the most anticipated Bollywood releases currently in production.
