4 days following the tragic accident, Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda remains in critical condition. A recent statement from the hospital mentioned that the singer continues to be on life support.

According to PTI, in a recent statement issued by Fortis Hospital on Tuesday, Rajvir’s neurological condition remains critical after his accident, in which he sustained severe injuries. Though the artist is being given the best medical care and attention, the authorities have shared that there is minimal brain activity and no significant improvement.

“He continues to require prolonged ventilator support. The overall prognosis remains guarded,” the statement read.

What happened to Rajvir Jawandha?

Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda (35) met with a tragic road accident on September 27 near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. He was first taken to the Civil Hospital, where doctors confirmed severe head and spine injuries. Reportedly, he also went into cardiac arrest. Later, he was referred and transferred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

Punjabi artists pray for Rajvir Jawanda’s speedy recovery

The entire artist community is in a state of grief and shock. Everyone has come together and is praying for Rajvir’s speedy recovery. A lot of Punjabi stars like Gurdas Maan, Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa, Tarsem Jassar, Raghveer Boli, Sonia Maan, Gippy Grewal, and more took to their social media handles to post about the singer and urged their fans also to pray for the singer. Diljit Dosanjh, during his live concert in Hong Kong, took a moment to speak about Rajvir. He spoke highly of the singer, appreciated his craft, and asked his audience to pray for him.Meanwhile, Ammy Virk, Kanwar Grewal, and others paid a visit to Rajvir at the hospital.
