Rajvir Jawanda continues to be on life support: Doctors confirm the singer remains critical - Report

Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda remains critical almost a week after his accident on Saturday, September 27. The singer, who sustained serious injuries to his head and spine, reportedly has shown no significant improvement and continues to be on life support.

Rajvir Jawanda remains on life support 6 days after the road accident

According to a PTI report, the hospital authorities have shared that the singer, who was admitted with near-fatal injuries, remains in a serious situation, and he continues to be on life support. He is being closely monitored and given the best medical care. However, there has been no major improvement in his condition.Rajvir’s family and friends are praying for his recovery. The whole Punjabi artist community is in grief, and several singers and actors have urged their audience via social media to pray for the speedy recovery of Rajvir Jawanda. Furthermore, political leaders, including Punjab’s Chief Minister, visited the singer at the hospital and expressed grief over his condition.

Rajvir Jawanda’s road accident

The 35-year-old singer was travelling to Shimla on his bike when he lost control of his vehicle near the Baddi area. He was initially admitted to Civil Hospital, where he suffered a cardiac arrest. He was then referred to the Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Reports suggest that the singer was brought to Fortis in a very ‘critical condition.’

Hailing from Ludhiana, Rajvir Jawanda is best appreciated and loved for his songs and live performances. His tracks, ‘Sardari,’ ‘Kangani,’ ‘Surname,’ and more garnered him both fame and love from the audience. Just a week before he met with the tragic accident, the singer released his latest song, ‘Tu Dis Painda.’ The romantic track was getting a positive response from music lovers. A day before the accident, as well, Rajvir’s last post was on the same song, where his smile won hearts.
