Rajpal Yadav dismisses viral reports of him crying in court: 'If you look at my face, there should only be laughter'

Rajpal Yadav denies crying in court or claiming no money, calling it “fabricated” social media lies. He urges laughter on his face, thanks silent industry/family support. Delhi HC grants interim bail till March 18 for niece’s wedding after Rs 1.5 Cr DD; passport surrendered.

Bollywood’s favorite comedian, Rajpal Yadav, has hit back at viral claims that he broke down in tears during a recent court appearance. Calling the rumors “imaginary” and “completely fabricated,” the actor clarified that while his legal battles are real, the drama reported on social media is largely the work of people “running their shops” on misinformation.

Rajpal Yadav denies crying in court

The actor said that anyone seeing his face should only feel laughter. Speaking to IANS, he added, “Don’t believe the imaginary stories of social media. Whatever is being printed, some of the stuff is being pushed by the well-wishers, while other is being spread by the people who do not know anything about the subject. They are also running their shops like this, and I respect everyone. If one looks at Rajpal’s face, there should be a burst of laughter; do not expect anything more than that.”

Rajpal Yadav gets industry support

In the interview, Rajpal also noted that many industry colleagues stepped up to support him during tough times. He said numerous people assisted him, even if their names didn’t make headlines on social media. The actor added that his family provided strong backing too.

Rajpal Yadav bail update

The Delhi High Court recently granted Rajpal Yadav interim bail in a cheque bounce case. The bail lasts until March 18, allowing him to attend his niece’s wedding in Shahjahanpur. During the hearing, his lawyer told the court that Rajpal had submitted a demand draft of Rs 1.5 crore. He was also directed to surrender his passport. The next hearing is set for March 18.
