Mumtaz also shared her feelings when Rajesh Khanna passed away in 2012. She said she was very sad to hear about his death. She added that his family had taken good care of him, and even now, when she sees his films on TV, she misses him a lot. She added, “The family looked after Kaka extremely well. Even I miss him.
