Suriya is one of the senior actors in the Tamil film fraternity. Working in the industry since the late 90’s, the artist went on to become a star after delivering some of the most commercial and critically acclaimed films from the early 2000’s to the mid 2000’s, including the ‘Singam’ franchise, ‘Ghajini’, ‘ Vaaranam Aayiram’ and ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ others.

About ‘Karuppu’
Speaking about ‘Karuppu’, it revolves around the guardian deity Vettai Karuppu disguises himself as a lawyer to fight corruption in a court system exploiting a young girl awaiting a liver transplant.
