‘I’m Game’ trailer: Dulquer Salmaan returns in a gritty action avatar; Jr NTR says, ‘Hope this bet pays off!’

The makers of ‘I’m Game’ have dropped the official trailer for the much-awaited Malayalam action thriller. The film marks Dulquer Salmaan’s return to Mollywood after a gap. Directed by ‘RDX’ fame Nahas Hidhayath, the film promises an action-packed story filled with gambling, suspense and revenge. The trailer presents Dulquer in a completely different avatar. It hints at a fast-paced narrative that combines stylish visuals with intense action sequences.

Dan John believes in algorithms, not luck

Dulquer essays the role of Dan John, a man deeply involved in the gambling world. Unlike conventional gamblers Dan believes calculations and strategy matter more than luck. Introducing his character, he confidently says, “I’m luck’s worst habit.”The trailer quickly shifts into high-voltage action as Dan is seen battling multiple opponents. One striking sequence shows him covered in blood while desperately trying to answer a phone call.

Action, mystery and revenge dominate the trailer

The trailer introduces several important characters without revealing their complete arcs. Kayadu Lohar’s character describes Dan as “just her patient.”Dan also delivers the lines, “Never ever give up” and “I’m going to settle everyone,” hinting at a revenge-driven narrative. The makers have deliberately kept Antony Varghese’s role under wraps.

Jr NTR praises the trailer

After the trailer launch, Dulquer shared it on X (formerly Twitter). Along with the video, he wrote, “High stakes. Zero mercy. The official trailer for ImGame is out now. #ImGame.”The trailer soon caught the attention of Telugu superstar Jr NTR, who reshared it and wished the team success. He wrote, “Loved the fiery vibe of the #ImGame Trailer… Gripping and engaging throughout.. I’m sure my brother @dulQuer has something special on his hands yet again. Hope this bet pays off!Wishing him and the entire team all the very best!”A new avatar for Dulquer SalmaanThe trailer suggests that ‘I’m Game’ will present Dulquer Salmaan in one of his most intense performances. The film blends gambling, action, mystery and emotional conflict into a high-stakes thriller.
