Prajakta Koli to make her debut with Marathi film, 'Krantijyoti Vidyalaya-Marathi Madhyam'; says it feels like 'coming home'

Influencer and actress Prajakta Koli is all set to make her debut in the Marathi movie industry with Hemant Dhome’s upcoming film ‘Krantijyoti Vidyalaya-Marathi Madhyam’. The film will be showcasing the reality about declining Marathi-medium schools in Maharashtra. In a recent interaction, the actress revealed she said yes to the movie. According to a News18 report, the film has been shot this year in Alibaug. While talking about the movie, Prajakta Koli shared that shifting from digital space to Bollywood was an “incredible experience.” However, as per the actress, stepping into Marathi cinema feels like “coming home.”Koli added, “The language, the culture, and the regional stories we tell hold a special place in my heart. ‘Krantijyoti Vidyalay – Marathi Madhyam’ explores themes that are not only timely but essential.”

Director Hemant Dhome shares his thoughts about the film

As per the report, Hemant Dhome added that he completed his schooling in Raigad district, and he is “extremely happy” that he got the opportunity to shoot the film. He added that the film is about the education system in the same region.

The filmmaker further shared, “We were on cloud nine looking at the response of the audience to the announcement.” He went on to say, “Now that the filming is complete, I am even more confident about offering something new to them.”Dhome concluded by saying that the film team is the strength of the film, and the movie will be out in theaters soon.
