'Nishaanchi' OTT release: When and where to watch Anurag Kashyap's film starring Aishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto

The Anurag Kashyap-directed film ‘Nishaanchi’ will be out in theaters this week. Ahead of its theatrical release slated for September 19, 2025, the news about the film’s OTT premiere has surfaced on the internet. The makers of the film starring Aaishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto in the lead roles have picked up Amazon Prime Video as its streaming partner. However, the makers are yet to announce the premiere date for the OTT platform.

In the movie, Aaishvary will be seen playing the double role of Babloo and Dabloo. Monika Panwar is set to essay the role of the mother of the twins. Meanwhile, Vedika’s character’s name is Rangeeli Rinku. Anurag has co-written the film with Ranjan Chandel and Prasoon Mishra.The film’s story revolves around the twins who get caught between crime and conscience.While talking about Aaishvary with the Hindustan Times, director Anurag Kashyap said that he didn’t know if the young actor belonged to the Thackeray family. The filmmaker added that he wasn’t even aware that Aaishvary was a Maharashtrian. He said, “When I met him, he told me who he was. He was more into music and was simultaneously doing acting workshops. I gave him the script, and he got excited.”

Backed by Ajay Rai, Vipin Agnihotri and Ranjan Singh, the film also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumud Mishra, and Javed Khan King, apart from the three above-mentioned actors
