And I am like this is going to be a disaster. We are not going to get it right,” he shared. Priyanka, on her end, sensed something was off but simply put it down to Nick’s personality. “I was wondering why is he anxious on this holiday? Is this the kind of person he is?” she joked.
Nick Jonas finally pops the question
At around 2:30 am, right as Priyanka mentioned heading to bed, Nick told her he had one more gift for her. He walked back to get the ring, then dropped to one knee to propose. Nick recalled that Priyanka’s yes didn’t come immediately, she spent close to a minute simply staring at him while he waited nervously with the ring. “I said I have one more gift for you. I went back to the room, grabbed the ring and proposed. And it all worked out the way it did. But she didn’t say yes right away. It took her like 40-50 seconds. She was staring at me. I was on my knee like, ‘Should I put the ring on?'” he recalled. Priyanka, however, clarified that he had already slipped the ring on before she gave her answer.
