Nayanthara to join Raghava Lawrence starrer ‘Kanchana 4’

Nayanthara rumored to play the flashback lead alongside Pooja Hegde in Raghava Lawrence's horror franchise 'Kanchana 4'

The ‘Kanchana’ franchise has continued to be one of the most lucrative horror comedy films within Tamil cinema, as all parts have been commercially successful. ‘Kanchana 4’ is the most recent addition to the successful film series directed by Raghava Lawrence. Apart from directing the film, Raghava Lawrence also plays the lead role. The movie already boasts an impressive cast featuring Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi, whose appearance marks her Tamil cinema debut.

Nayanthara joins ‘Kanchana 4’

According to reports from Cine Ulagam, actress Nayanthara has joined ‘Kanchana 4’ in a key role. As per the report, the character of the Lady Superstar is expected to feature in the film during the flashback scenes, making it even more interesting for the audience. Even though nothing much is known about her role in the film, there is speculation regarding the role that she is expected to play. The filmmakers have not yet confirmed her role in the film.

A strong ensemble adds to the film’s appeal

In addition to the lead characters, there are many other actors who will play significant parts in ‘Kanchana 4.’ One such actor is Garuda Ram, whose actual name is Ramachandra Raju, and another is Anandaraj; both have been reported to play negative characters again. Some other actors include Swasika Iyer, Devadarshini, and Kamalesh Jagan. It is noteworthy that the makers have kept silent regarding the story.

Fans eagerly await official confirmation

Speculation about Nayanthara pairing up with Raghava Lawrence for the ‘Kanchana’ universe has created huge hype on social networking sites. If these rumors become reality, then this would definitely add a new level of grandeur to this highly anticipated movie. ‘Kanchana 4’ seems to be amongst the most ambitious Tamil movies ever.
