Veteran actress Nafisa Ali has voiced her support for Zaira Wasim’s decision to leave the film industry, emphasizing the importance of personal choice and freedom. Ali encouraged young actors to prioritize their beliefs amidst pressures. National Award-winning actor Zaira Wasim recently announced her decision to quit the film industry, saying it conflicted with her faith and beliefs. After her detailed Instagram post, many in the film industry expressed support, while some questioned her choice. The latest to show support is veteran actress Nafisa Ali.

Advice for young actors

Taking to her Instagram handle, she wrote, “This is the new me … older, grey and feeling positive. I saw myself when I was 20 and I just felt for young actor Zaira Wasim. I thought let me put this message out that work is something which is your choice, it is your freedom, your independent right. There are many pressures young people are surrounded by… but if you have a choice, make you sure you think and make the right choice. Because I always look back and say why did I give in, why did I listen to my father, I should have listened to myself.” Apart from her, Hansal Mehta, Pooja Bhatt and Soni Razdan also lent their support to the Dangal.

Health update on Nafisa Ali

That is my greatest gift -siblings who share the same love and memories. Protect one another, and remember: your bond is stronger than anything life can bring’.”On the work front, she was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s 2022 film Uunchai.
