Mira Rajput, wife of Shahid Kapoor, recounted a harrowing experience during her first pregnancy, revealing she began dilating at four months. Despite being young and healthy, the sonography revealed the complication, leading to hospitalization. Shahid created a hospital-like environment at home for her recovery after two and a half months.

Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput, had once opened up about a scary moment during her first pregnancy. Mira revealed that she started dilating at just four months. Although it was scary, Shahid was right by her side.

Unexpected complications

Speaking on Prakhar Gupta’s podcast, Mira had shared that during her first pregnancy, she never imagined facing any complications—she was young, healthy, and fit. But at four months, a sonography revealed that she had started dilating, and the doctor warned her that she could risk losing the baby at any moment.

Hospital stay and home recovery

The star wife further shared that she spent the next couple of months in the hospital under close observation. After two and a half months, feeling mentally exhausted, Shahid asked the doctor if she could continue her recovery at home. Shahid went on to create a hospital-like setup at home, and her family even surprised her with a visit. She revealed that the moment was so overwhelming that it triggered contractions, and the doctor immediately advised her to return to the hospital.The couple tied the knot in 2015 in an arranged marriage. They welcomed their daughter Misha a year later. In 2018, they became parents again with the arrival of their son, Zain. Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid will soon be reuniting with Vishal Bhardwaj for ‘Romeo’. The film will also feature Triptii Dimri in lead role.
