Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco officially tied the knot on Saturday, in a star-studded ceremony in California’s Santa Barbara County. The intimate celebration, held at the Hope Ranch, reportedly saw around 170 guests, including Gomez’s longtime friend Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Paris Hilton, and her ‘Only Murders in the Building’ co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

However, one notable absence caught fans’ attention. Gomez’s ‘Only Murders’ co-star Meryl Streep was unable to attend the nuptials as she was filming the highly anticipated sequel of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ in Milan.
The actress, who plays an important role in the series, was spotted making an appearance at Milan Fashion Week, seated front row at the Dolce & Gabbana show. Dressed as her character Miranda Priestly, the actress took her seat besides Stanley Tucci and Simone Ashley, rumoured to play her new assistant in the film.

Streep was even photographed reuniting with Vogue’s former editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, the real-life inspiration behind her iconic Miranda character. The two ladies were seen hugging it out and sharing a laugh backstage. Videos doing the rounds online, saw Anna unable to hold back her smile as she got a first-hand look at the frenzy as soon as the actors stepped in the room. For the wedding, Selena looked radiant in a custom white sleeveless halter-neck gown with floral detailing.
