Mark Ruffalo reveals if he has been FIRED from 'Avengers'; drops 'Avengers: Secret Wars' spoiler

Mark Ruffalo has addressed the viral online claim that he has been fired by Disney and will not be returning as the Hulk in the upcoming MCU film, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.The actor, who has been making waves online for being vocal about his criticism and protesting against US President Donald Trump’s policies and ICE raids, was reportedly fired from future film projects. However, the actor, who is currently promoting his upcoming film ‘Crime 101’ alongside Marvel co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry, dismissed the claims in his interview with The News Movement.

When asked about reports, Ruffalo responded, “Not that I know of. People keep going, like did you get fired. I’m like, not that I know of.”He went on to clarify that he remains on good terms with the studio backing the superhero movies. He shared, “I’ll be there as long as they have me. But I have a good relationship with them. And who knows, there might be things I’m already doing that… I’m around, let me just say that.”

While Marvel has not yet revealed any update about the next big Marve film ‘Aveners: Secret Wars’, Mark accidentally confirmed the return of a fan-favourite cast member. During a separate appearance with BuzzFeed UK, Ruffalo hinted that Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. During a game, the actor revealed the number of ‘Avengers’ films they are a part of. “Six… well, there will be,” Mark said, prompting Chris to reply, “Yeah, but we have not shot that one.”

During another interview, Hemsworth and co-star Halle Berry, best known for playing the X-Men character Storm, came to Ruffalo’s defence and dismissed the firing rumours saying, “It’s nonsense.” Halle added, “We would protest.”Mark’s character of Bruce Banner will make his next appearance in Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’.
