Malaika Arora’s secret for health and longevity

Malaika Arora's secret for health and longevity: A balance of early workout sessions and late-night parties - Read more inside

Malaika Arora, the dazzling model and actress of Bollywood whose pictures awe every fan, has been championing fitness and health since the dawn of the day. Whether it’s a boring Monday or a thrilling festive day, the 51-year-old actress never fails to attend her gym sessions – social media can vouch for it.

Malaika Arora opens up about her discipline

With an unwavering attitude, Arora has been a tenacious follower of holistic wellness and her well-being. However, the one-of-a-kind discipline has been consistently followed since her teenage years. “When I was in college, even then, I was very particular. Extremely,” she said in an interview with Pinkvilla, before adding, “I was particular about eating good food and working out daily. I was always like that. I never took anything for granted.”

Malaika Arora prefers early morning work outs to late night parties

While Malaika’s sister, Amrita Arora, questioned her decision to choose routine instead of having a normal teenage life of parties, the ‘Dholna’ performer revealed that she used to wake up early and work out, in addition to following her water therapy. “You may think I’m exaggerating, but that’s how I’ve been. I think that’s been a part of my life and my journey throughout,” she said, adding that one needs to follow a lifestyle for longevity instead of frivolously following time. However, Arora pointed out that she appreciates someone showing up for their workout – may it be running, walking, or hitting the gym for 20 minutes. Concluding on an assertive note, Arora said, “Showing up every day, waking up, being grateful for a new day, I’m somebody who truly values that. We take so much for granted. I’m somebody who has a routine, and I’m particular about it.” Moreover, she claimed that she would work out in the morning no matter what, as it sets the tone for the day and feel productive.
