Madharasi box office collection drops on day 11

Madharasi box office collection day 11: The collection of Sivakarthikeyan starrer drops as the film earns Rs 0.54 crore on Second Monday

A.R. Murugadoss’s Madharasi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, faces box office challenges. After a promising opening, collections dropped significantly on the second Monday. The film earned Rs 0.54 crore on Day 11, bringing the total to Rs 57.24 crore. Initial earnings were strong, powered by Tamil Nadu audiences. However, subsequent days saw a decline despite positive reviews praising Sivakarthikeyan and Vidyut Jammwal’s performances.

After a decent start at the box office, the AR Murugadoss directorial saw a drop in collections on its second Monday, earning just Rs 0.54 crore on Day 11.According to Sacnilk, Madharasi earned around 0.54 crore net on its eleventh day, taking the overall collection to Rs 57.24 crore. The industry tracker also stated that the film had an overall 14.85 percent Tamil occupancy on Monday, September 15, 2025.As reported by the Sacnilk website, after raking in Rs 13.65 crore on day 1, the film’s earnings fell to Rs 4.15 crore by its first Monday and continued slipping further through the week. The first seven days closed at Rs 49 crore, largely powered by Tamil Nadu audiences, but the film’s second Friday and Saturday saw further dips, with just Rs 1.8 crore and Rs 1.35 crore respectively. With a 3-star rating, an excerpt from ETimes review for the film reads, “Sivakarthikeyan’s robust performance and Vidyut Jamwal’s swagger power Madharaasi in a big way. The former, with his beefed-up look, is a far cry from the roadside Romeos that we have seen him play in the early years of his career, and his intensity during the action sequences establishes that he’s now in the big league. As for the latter, after Thuppakki, he gets another memorable antagonist role, where he puts his brawn and screen presence to superb use. ”Madharasi was promoted as a mass entertainer with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, joined by a big cast including Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth, Prem Kumar, and Monisha Vijay. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the much-talked-about collaboration had audiences expecting something special.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
