Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘DC’ trailer packs raw violence

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘DC’ trailer packs raw violence; Arun Matheswaran's directorial promises a gritty action ride

Arun Matheswaran’s upcoming film ‘DC’ has created huge buzz after the release of its intense trailer. Known for films like ‘Rocky’, ‘Saani Kaayidham’, and ‘Captain Miller’, the director once again brings a dark and violent world to the screen. Lokesh Kanagaraj will play Devadas in the main role, whereas Wamiqa Gabbi will play Chandra in the movie. It seems the teaser trailer set fan expectations high, but the movie trailer takes the hype to a whole new level.

Lokesh Kanagaraj steps into a new journey

Lokesh Kanagaraj made his directorial debut with ‘Maanagaram’ and later became one of Tamil cinema’s most successful filmmakers with ‘Kaithi’. After that, he directed leading stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Vijay in blockbuster films. His recent directorial venture ‘Coolie’ also reportedly performed well at the box office. Now, Lokesh is taking a different path by turning hero in ‘DC’. Fans are eager to see whether the successful director can create the same impact as an actor on screen.

Anirudh’s music and high-octane action make the ‘DC’ trailer stand out

The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the trailer clearly shows that ‘DC’ will be packed with action, emotion, and intense drama. Earlier, the glimpse video released on Valentine’s Day gave fans an idea about the film’s dark tone. But the newly released three-minute trailer goes much deeper into that world. It opens with a disturbing scene of a woman screaming inside a car, followed by gunshots, bloodshed, and fast-paced action sequences. Anirudh’s powerful background score adds more energy and tension to every scene. The trailer promises a gritty cinematic experience filled with violence and emotional conflict.

‘DC’ trailer ending leaves fans curious

From the trailer, it appears that the story revolves around Devadas trying to save Chandra from people who push her into a dark and dangerous life for money. At the same time, the trailer also makes it clear that the film will contain strong violence and bold dialogue throughout. Many curse words in the trailer have been muted, which has already become a talking point among fans. The final dialogue, “Ava peru Chandrada…,” gives the trailer a powerful ending and leaves viewers curious about the emotional connection between the lead characters. While many fans are excited about the film’s raw and realistic treatment, others are also wondering just how intense the full movie will be. Go to Source
