'Bhooth Bangla' box office collection day 29: Akshay Kumar's horror comedy narrowly misses Rs 250 crore mark

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has entered its fifth week at theatres. The horror comedy has been earning low yet steady collections after completing the first two weeks at the cinemas. The film opened to mixed reviews from the audience as well as the critics. However, nostalgia became the talking point and the USP of the film. A section of the masses enjoyed witnessing the old comic version of Akshay in the movie.

The Priyadarshan directorial earned Rs 84.40 crore, Rs 43.75 crore, Rs 21.85 crore, and Rs 14.30 crore in the first, second, third, and fourth weeks. According to the Sacnilk report on day 15, the movie has minted Rs 0.75 crore across 2,297 shows.This has pushed the total India gross collection to Rs 195.70 crore and total India net collections to Rs 165.05 crore.

‘Bhooth Bangla’ worldwide collection

According to the report, on day 29, the horror comedy has netted Rs 0.05 crore overseas, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 53.35 crore. With that, the total worldwide gross collection of the film now stands at Rs 249.05 crore. The film narrowly missed the Rs 250 crore worldwide mark at the box office.
