The celebrity world is filled with feuds; however, Lizzo is clearly not a part of this at all. Recently, rumours of the famed singer and her comments about Taylor Swift have been swirling around online. When a netizen directly commented on one of her latest posts about the same, the ‘Juice’ singer quickly defended herself, laid the rumours to rest, and even asked the netizen to “grow tf up pls.”

When rumors started swirling online about Lizzo commenting on Taylor Swift, the famed ‘About Damn Time’ was quick to defend herself from online trolls. When someone replied to her latest posts about the same, Lizzo asked them if they were well, and later on clarified that she had never said anything negative about the ‘Opalite’ singer.Her post read, “Are you well? First of all, I have never talked s— about Taylor Swift— also while we on the subject, I’ve never talked s— about any artist.” Further on she also added that “Just because I mention an artist by name does not mean I’m talking s—— grow tf up pls.”Recently, someone took to their social media account and posted a comment saying, “”The Life Of A Showgirl + MY FACE HURTS FROM SMILING — 4.005M. ICEMAN + MAID OF HONOUR + HABIBTI — 683k.” As the post went viral, Lizzo reshared it on her account in a quote asking fans for clarification on what this means. That is when another netizen posted that “It means all that s— talking you did about Tay finally caught up to you.” This prompted the 38-year-old musician to jump out in her defense against the rumors.

Earlier this month, Lizzo released the first single from her upcoming album, which was titled ‘BI***.’ While she was promoting and talking about her latest single on the ‘Genius Verified’ podcast on May 15, she mentioned Swift’s name and talked about how commonly Swift’s older songs, which were rereleased by her, are called ‘(Taylor’s version)’, and similarly called her song ‘Lizzo’s version.’During the interview, she had been talking about Meredith Brooks 1997 song of the same name and drawing from the song, which had prompted her to say that “I want the whole world to know that this is her record.” Then she went on and commented that “I was like, ‘This is Lizzo’s version,’ You know how it’s like, ‘Taylor’s Version?’ It’s like, ‘Bi*** (Lizzo’s Version).'”

On the work front, Lizzo is preparing to release her third studio album on June 1, which shares the same title as her first single. This is her first major release since her mixtape ‘My Face Hurts from Smiling’ came out.As for Taylor Swift, the singer last released the music video for ‘Opalite’ from her album ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’ On the other hand, she has also been busy with wedding prep as she and Travis Kelce prepare themselves to tie the knot.
