Rapper Lil Nas X found himself behind bars after a bizarre late-night incident in Los Angeles. The star hit headlines on Friday, after he was reportedly spotted walking along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City wearing only white underwear and matching cowboy boots.

New video of Lil Nas X surfaces

The rapper, was taken into custody after people in the locality complained of a naked man walking on the streets. Now, a newly surfaced video showed that Lil Nas X had stripped down completely and was walking on the streets before he was confronted. The newly released video shows the star unfazed by the attention as onlookers filmed him completely in the buff as he strutted down the streets. According to TMZ, the rapper appeared entirely unconcerned by his lack of clothing, even made eye contact with cameras all while performing for passersby. At one point, he was heard rapping Nicki Minaj’s verse from her iconic track “Monster.”

Police arrest Lil Nas X

Police were eventually called to the scene. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, police sources said that officers “arrived on the scene to find a man walking in the middle of the road and incoherent.””Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer,” a spokesperson for the LAPD said.

Rapper jailed, to appear before court

He has been booked under Charge 69 (a) PC, which relates to resisting or obstructing an officer.Authorities later confirmed that he will spend the weekend in jail. The LAPD said in an email, “The arrestee (Hill) cannot be cited out. It is mandatory that he appear before a judge before he is released. This will happen on Monday.”The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, with many fans expressing concern for the Grammy-winning artist’s well-being.
