According to The Hindu, Lata Mangeshkar remembered Michael Jackson in a heartfelt post and expressed regret at never having met him. The singer wrote, “My humble tribute to one of the greatest pop artists ever, Michael Jackson…may his soul rest in peace…”She followed it with a more personal note. “Never got opportunity to meet him…i’ll always have this regret in my heart…(sic),” she wrote on Twitter, as reported by the outlet.The message stood out because Mangeshkar kept it simple and direct. She did not describe the missed chance as a career moment. She spoke about it as a personal feeling. Her words showed how deeply Jackson’s artistry had touched musicians across the world, including one of India’s most respected voices.
