Gujarati cinema’s ‘Laalo’ is rewriting box office history, dominating even on its 48th day. This regional release has become a national sensation, amassing an impressive Rs 77.95 crore. Made on a Rs 50 lakh budget, the film has delivered over 15,000% profit, surpassing major national hits and signaling Gujarat’s arrival in mainstream cinema discussions.

Gujarati cinema continues to witness a revolution as its latest offering Ankit Sakhiya’s Laalo -Krishna Sada Sahaayate continues its dominance even on 48th day. . The film’s trajectory has been unseen in the history of world cinema, the film began with a modest Rs 33 lakh Week 1, followed by Rs 27 lakh in Week 2, Rs 62 lakh in Week 3, Rs 12.08 crore in Week 4 , Rs 25.70 in Week 5 and Rs 24.40 crore in Week 6. The film added Rs Rs 9.95 crore in the 7th weekend making it the biggest 7th weekend collection of Indian Cinema. And in 6 days of week 7 the film has earned Rs 14.55 crore. Laalo has overtaken major national titles such as Bhool Chuk Maaf (Rs 72.73 crore) and Dude (Rs 73.13 crore), signalling Gujarat’s entry into mainstream box-office conversations. And the dream run is far from over. Trade analysts now estimate that Laalo will comfortably cross the Rs 80 crore mark over the coming weekend and begin its march towards Rs 85 crore, cementing its status as not just a blockbuster but a cultural moment.
