The devotional drama ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ continues to rule the Gujarati regional box office success. Directed by Ankit Sakhiya, the film features Karan Joshi, Reeva Rachh, and Shruhad Goswami in the lead roles. The film which is receiving praise all over the nation, is also doing extremely well abroad.As reported by News 18, after drawing overwhelming crowds across the USA, Canada, the UK, and Australia, the film has now taken over Gulf nations, including Dubai, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Bahrain, where multiple theaters are currently running houseful shows.

Audiences back home in Gujarat remain just as captivated, with theaters still filling up weeks after release.There were packed screenings in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar, and even smaller towns and villages. Theater owners are calling it one of the most profitable releases ever, and with collections exceeding 15,000% of its production cost, the claim doesn’t seem exaggerated.

The film’s journey has now taken a deeply emotional turn after a special screening at Vadodara Central Jail, where nearly 1,800 inmates experienced the film together. According to accounts from those present, the screening resulted in an unforgettable emotional shift within the prison walls. In a video posted by the team on Instagram, several inmates are seen explaining the feeling of watching the movie. One inmate shared, “The story of this film was very good; the important thing was about karma—you get the result of what you do. What has happened is a different thing, but now the message that you should do good is given through the film. We found this film very impactful.”Overall, ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ is surely a Gujarati gem that happened this year, and the makers have now confirmed officially that it has crossed Rs 100 crores.
