Here’s a closer look at Kris Fade’s decision to refuse the dream job in Australia.
Kris Fade reveals why he denied the job in Australia
Fade penned a lengthy note to explain his thoughts on the dream job at KIIS FM, expressing how life threw him a curveball. However, he shared that he would ‘never say never’ to a permanent return to his land in Australia. “It’s nice to publicly put it out there. I’ve called Dubai home for 19 years – I can’t just pack up my bags and go. There are things I’ve committed to that are starting in a few months, so that was one of the reasons,” he said on The Kris Fade Show on Monday morning.
Kris Fade talks about family and missing Australia
Fade continued to state that he loves what he created in Dubai with the company, radio, family, and his team. “My family are here as well; my wife, my kids, my two daughters are finishing off high school in the next two years. I think packing up our bags and going home now wouldn’t have been easy for them, either,” he said, per Nine. While he oftentimes misses life in Australia, he believes that he made the right choice. Talking about his career, the 46-year-old host dropped hints about making one of the biggest things, which will be known to the public in 12 months.
