Kajal Aggarwal responds to road accident death hoax: ‘I am perfectly fine, safe and doing very well’

Kajal Aggarwal, one of the most popular actresses in the South who has also made her mark in Bollywood, became the target of a shocking death hoax after reports claimed she had passed away in a road accident. The rumours spread rapidly on social media, forcing the actress to step in and put an end to the speculation.

Kajal responds to false accident claims

The actress took to Instagram Stories to clarify that the viral news was completely baseless. Sharing her relief at being able to address the false reports, Kajal wrote, “I have come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident and no longer around. And honestly, it’s quite amusing as it is untrue. By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe and doing very well. I kindly request you not to believe or spread such false news. Let’s keep our focus on positivity and truth instead.”

Earlier, when ETimes reached out to her over a call to confirm, Kajal herself responded, though briefly: “I am busy right now and will connect with you later.” This further reassured fans that she was absolutely safe.

Kajal, who made her Hindi debut with Kyun! Ho Gaya Na… (2004), went on to become one of the biggest names in Tamil and Telugu cinema with hits like Thuppakki, Temper, Comali and Hey Sinamika. She recently made a special appearance in Kannappa and will next be seen in The Indian Story, Indian 3, and Ramayana.The actress married businessman Gautam Kitchlu in October 2020. The couple is parents to a son, Neil, and Kajal often shares heartwarming glimpses of her family life alongside updates from her busy film schedule.
