Judith Wyler, the daughter of director William Wyler, has passed away at the age of 84. She was found unresponsive in her car along with her husband, Wylie Sheldon, on a California interstate.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the actress and daughter of Oscar-winning director William Wyler, along with her husband, Wylie Sheldon, have passed away. They were found in an unresponsive state by authorities in their car. They were both found on a California interstate. The news was confirmed by the California Highway Patrol, who had found the two deceased individuals.It was added in the report that the couple was found in a running SUV that had been parked at Interstate 5 near Redding. The discovery was made in the evening hours of June 15. Judith was found to be sitting in the driver’s seat, while her partner, Sheldon, was found sitting in the passenger seat.At the time of writing, not much has been shared about their cause of demise, as authorities are still investigating the matter. Both of them were reported deceased at the spot by authorities, and as of right now, no autopsy has been performed. According to the report, the authorities do not suggest foul play either; however, the investigation is still underway. The news of the veteran star has caused quite a shock for the film industry and the San Francisco arts scene.

Who was Judith ‘Judy’ Wyler?

Judith ‘Judy’ Wyler was the daughter of the renowned director William Wyler and ‘A Desperate Adventure’ actress Margaret Tallichet. In the 1950s, she rose to fame and accumulated a lot of screen credit over the course of a couple of years. She appeared in projects like ‘The Best Years Of Our Lives’, ‘The Buccaneers’, ‘Roman Holiday’, ‘The Erryl Flynn Theatre’, and ‘Death of a Salesman’, to name a few. She was born on May 21, in 1942 in Los Angeles, California, USA.She and her husband were also respected and beloved figures in California’s arts and film communities. Over the years, after stepping away from the film industry altogether, she advocated for the preservation of silent films and was even named as one of the board chairs for the San Francisco Silent Film Festival.Her father, William Wyler, was known for working on some of the biggest hits in the industry at the time. These included ‘Wuthering Heights’, ‘The Big Country’, ‘The Letter’, and ‘How to Steal a Million’. He passed away on July 27, 1981, at the age of 79, because of a heart attack. Go to Source
