Jr NTR’s office ends political entry speculations

Jr NTR’s office denies association with RAW NTR; issues final clarification on political rumours

Jr NTR is one of the biggest stars in Andhra Pradesh and has a history with politics as he is the grandson of the Telugu actor and politician NTR. Recently, there have been speculations about the ‘Devara’ actor entering politics once again.The rumours about Jr NTR joining politics started after claims spread on social media that the actor could make a political announcement during an event in Tirupati on July 18.Now, Jr. NTR’s team has now cleared the air. They said the programme is not related to politics in any way. According to the team, the event is only for the #OoruVaada social initiative.

Team says the event is not political

The statement read, “It has come to our attention that an organisation operating under the name RAW NTR has been carrying out activities that may create an impression of being associated with Mr. NTR. We would like to categorically clarify that Mr. NTR and his office have absolutely no association, affiliation, or involvement whatsoever with RAW NTR or any of its activities. The organisation is neither authorised to represent Mr. NTR nor to communicate on his behalf in any capacity.”They further made it clear that any association involving the ‘Dragon’ actor. They added, “ Any charitable initiative, public welfare activity, official communication, or association involving Mr. NTR will be communicated only through Mr. NTR or his official team. Any information or activity circulated through unauthorised individuals or organisations should not be treated as authentic. This shall be our final communication on this subject. We sincerely hope this clarification puts an end to all ongoing rumours and speculation.”

Strong political family background

Jr. NTR comes from a well-known political family. He is the grandson of legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao, who founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982.His father, Nandamuri Harikrishna, was also associated with the TDP and served as a Rajya Sabha member. His uncle, actor Balakrishna, is a three-time TDP MLA.Jr. NTR is also related to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president Chandrababu Naidu through family ties. Because of this strong political background, discussions about his political future continue from time to time.
