Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were never in love?

Amitabh Bachchan Gets Emotional Remembering Parents, Shares Powerful Message on ‘Sanskaar’

“A level of infatuation must have developed between the two, but I don’t think it was love because he was already married,” she said. She added that though there was a time Rekha turned vegetarian to impress Big B, the two parted ways as they grew older.

Jaya Bachchan’s last sign to Rekha, claiming no matter what, she will always be Mrs Bachchan

It has often been seen that Rekha never shied away from confessing her feelings for Mr. Bachchan. However, when Amitabh Bachchan was ever asked about his alleged relationship with her, he would always dodge the question. “He never used to answer questions about Rekha. He would completely ignore the topic,” said Pooja before adding that Jaya had a different tactic; she would never give interviews in the first place. And then came the story of the infamous dinner, when Jaya Bachchan invited Rekha home. She welcomed her like a perfect hostess. But when Rekha was ready to leave, Jaya made it clear that she is the one holding the title of wife, and would not be leaving the position, what may come. “While bidding farewell to Rekha, Jaya made it clear in not so many words that she was Mrs Bachchan and will always hold that position no matter what. That was the last sign that she could give to Rekha,” narrated the veteran journalist. After all this, there came a point when Amitabh and Rekha, stopped working together. Go to Source
