Taking to his social media account, the ‘Sex and the City’ star finally returned to the online world with a cryptic post that has left many people confused. He posted a video on May 21 explaining what had happened and where he had been all this time. The video, which was posted along with the caption “After three years, it was time”, showed the 54 year old actor walking alongside a beach. In the video, he stated, “Three years ago, I went quiet. Not because I had nothing to say, but because I had something to do.” He called it “kind of creative work that doesn’t leave room for much else.” However, the actor then declared that while he is still “in it”, he is also at a space in his life where he felt that it was time to “resurface” and let everyone know what has been going on in his life.”I made my peace with that. It’s the kind of work that needs to find its people, though. I’m still in it. But I’m far enough along now that it felt like it was time to resurface and share what I’ve been doing,” he stated, concluding by saying that there is “more to come.”Lewis last appeared in public when he starred on season 31 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ back in 2022. He and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd, starred in the show for only a few episodes before they were the first couple to be eliminated. As to why he said yes to the show, the actor opened up about how his fiancée had been the reason behind it all. “This year, when the offer came in, my fianceé asked me to be a little less pigheaded and at least take a look at a show. It is incredibly beautifully done. The dancers are so talented,” he stated while talking to PEOPLE.
