Salman Khan is filming his upcoming movie, Battle of Galwan, aiming for a June 2026 release. The film depicts the 2020 India-China clash in the Galwan Valley, highlighting bravery. Salman Khan is currently working on his next big movie, ‘Battle of Galwan’. After teasing fans with first-look photos, posters and shirtless pics of himself, new reports suggest that the film is eyeing a theatrical release in June 2026.Filming details and release timelineAccording to Bollywood Hungama, the film’s shooting began in September in Ladakh and a major chunk of the film was shot amidst the rugged terrain. After wrapping up key action sequences, reports state that the team is expected to conclude filming in December, after which director Apoorva Lakhia will turn his focus to post-production work.The makers are reportedly planning to release the film in June 2026. However, Lakhia later cleared up the confusion, explaining that Bachchan was not involved with the film. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he said, “No, he was shooting for a commercial in the opposite studio, so I went to meet him and said hello.”An official release date for the film has yet to be announced.
