Inside Rishab Shetty’s 12-crore coastal home: 'Kantara' star’s Kundapura mansion blends tradition, luxury and cinema

Kantara star Rishab Shetty’s coastal mansion in Kundapura, Karnataka, reportedly valued at Rs 12 crore, blends heritage with modern luxury. Featuring a skylit atrium with Yakshagana memorabilia, a unique ‘Rain Room’ for creative work, and a private screening room, the home reflects Shetty’s artistic journey. His production facility, a renovated rice mill, is also nearby.

‘Kantara’ star Rishab Shetty lives in a stunning coastal mansion reportedly valued at around Rs 12 crore. The house is located in Kundapura in the Udupi district of Karnataka. Surrounded by scenic landscapes, the property offers views of the nearby Arabian Sea and the house stands close to Maravanthe Beach as reported by Housivity website.Interestingly, the property reportedly once belonged to his great-grand-uncle and has been preserved and transformed while still maintaining elements of the family’s heritage.

Inside the mansion

The mansion itself is designed as a fusion of heritage and modern comfort and the visitors are welcomed by wide laterite steps and elegant Burma-teak doors. A brass temple bell greets guests at the entrance and at the heart of the residence is a skylit atrium featuring a granite tulasi katta. The space is surrounded by Yakshagana headgear, film memorabilia, and props associated with Shetty’s creative journey.According to MagicBricks, as one step into the airy atrium, they will find a 300-kg granite Tulsi katta at the centre and around it are four tastefully designed corners that hold pieces of Rishab’s journey which includees Yakshagana headgear, a rifle prop from Kantara, and also a cricket bat autographed by Yuvraj Singh.

Unique features

The home also includes several unique spaces that highlight the ‘Kantara’ actor’s creative personality. One of the most unusual features is the ‘Rain Room’ that has glass walls and simulated rainfall ambience. It is used as a quiet space for brainstorming and scriptwriting.The mansion also houses a private screening room designed for premium viewing experiences. The space features Italian leather recliners and a large retractable screen.MagicBricks further describes the experience as it states that Rishab’s home has its own private screening room which is designed for comfort and premium cinematic experience. The Italian leather recliners face a 150-inch retractable screen and what more does a movie buff need?The screening room is also equipped with a Dolby Atmos sound system and a projector fondly named after the forest spirit from Kantara – ‘Seleyaraya’.Rishab Shetty’s property also features a garage housing several vehicles, including an Audi Q7, Mahindra Thar, Jeep Compass, and a Royal Enfield motorcycle. Interestingly the vehicle horns are tuned to regional folk music.Close to the residence is Rishab Shetty’s production facility which operates from a renovated rice mill.
