Ind Vs Pak T20 World Cup: Humankind avoids performing ‘Dhurandhar’ track

Ind Vs Pak T20 World Cup: Rapper, singer Humankind avoids 'Dhurandhar' title track before the match, performs on 'Big Dawgs'

Fans were excited to know that Humankind will be performing at the ICC T20 World Cup in Columbo. While a match between India and Pakistan always grabs eyeballs and excitement, people were also looking forward to Humankind performing on ‘Dhurandhar’ title track after the film’s ban in Pakistan. While the atmosphere was electric at the R Premadasa Stadium, the rapper avoided performing on the title track of the Ranveer Singh starrer. He lit up the stadium with explosive pre-match performance, transforming the build-up into a concert-like spectacle. The breakout star of 2025 belted out his chartbuster Big Dawgs, commanding the stage with his trademark intensity and razor-edged flow. Surrounded by a dynamic group of dancers and immersive lighting effects, the performance became a visual and sonic extravaganza for the packed crowd, which included passionate fans from both India and Pakistan.

Karachi Sells Banned Dhurandhar for Rs 16 as Piracy Storm Defies Official Ban

However, fans noticed the title track of ‘Dhurandhar’ missing from his setlist, which is his collaboration with Jasmine Sandlas and others. The absence stood out, particularly because the film and its music have faced a ban in Pakistan. Given the sensitive backdrop of the event and the cross-border audience in attendance, Hanumankind opted to steer clear of the politically charged number during the global sporting fixture. Although Indian films have not had an official theatrical release in Pakistan since 2019, reports suggest that ‘Dhurandhar’ still found its way to viewers through unofficial means, clocking nearly two million pirated digital downloads in the country. Recently, a user on social media also pointed out that pirated DVDs of ‘Dhurandhar’ were being sold at a cheap price in Pakistan. The sequel of this Aditya Dhar directorial is set to release on March 19, 2026 and will be clashing with ‘KGF’ star Yash’s ‘Toxic’.
