'Idli Kadai' box office collection day 1: Dhanush starrer gets an average start, Surpasses Rs 5 crore

Dhanush starrer ‘Idli Kadai’ has hit theatres today (October 1), and the film released with high-anticipation. The well-promoted film opened with solid occupancy on the opening day, and fans have been enjoying the film well in theatres. ‘Idli Kadai’ earns around Rs 5 crore

As per Sacnilk, ‘Idli Kadai’ grossed around Rs 5 crore on the opening day till evening shows. Out of it, the Tamil version has clocked around Rs 3.2 crore, while the Telugu merits the rest. The final box office collection of ‘Idli Kadai’ on day 1 is likely to be around 7 to 8 crore in India, and the global collection might be closer to Rs 10 crore. Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that Dhanush’s last release, ‘Kubera’, clocked Rs 14 crore worldwide on day 1, and ‘Idli Kadai’ is likely to be 30% less than the social drama.

‘Idli Kadai’ has been sinking in the rain of positive reviews from critics and fans. Dhanush’s directorial is a sure-shot family entertainer with a mix of emotion, action, and romance, and the engaging screenplay given fans a refreshing vibe.
