Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has no qualms talking about his rencent box office disappointment, ‘War 2’. The actor, who headed to Dubai for an event, addressed the underwhelming box-office performance of his spy action film that hit theatres early this year.

At the event, the actor was introduced on stage as a “superstar”. However, Hrithik humbly took the microphone and said, “That’s really kind of you. My film just bombed at the box office. So it feels really good to get all the love. Thank you.”

Hrithik’s video goes viral

Videos of the actor’s candid reply soon went viral online, earning cheers and praise from fans. In the clip, Hrithik could be seen looking sharp in a black tuxedo. He got the audience hooting and cheering him on by recreating his iconic ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ hook step from his 2000 debut ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’.

With ‘War 2’ behind him, Hrithik is now moving forward with his next big venture – ‘Krrish 4’. Fans quickly noted that the actor was rocking a longer hairstyle at the event, hinting that prep for the superhero franchise’s next instalment, was on in full swing. One fan shared the clip and wrote, “The KRRISH 4 hair in progress… the Actor-director-producer – A Hrithik Roshan movie.”

Upcoming film projects

Beyond ‘Krrish 4’, Roshan is also gearing up to star alongside Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the upcoming action thriller ‘Alpha’. While much about his role in the film is still unknown, he is said to make an appearance in the first female-led spy film.
