The actor recently turned 80 and has no qualms about slowing down when it comes to doing what he loves most aside from acting: painting.

The star recently turned 80, and contrary to most of his high-powered roles, Stallone likes to lead a quiet life away from the hassle in Palm Beach, Florida. According to a recent report from PEOPLE, the actor proudly balances his life between acting, golfing, and painting.A statement from the report read that he prioritizes his time properly, and also spends a lot of time at local restaurants near his home in Palm Beach, Florida. Not only that but the Stallone family also uses a good amount of time at the East Hampton house that the star acquired in 2024. The actor is married to Jennifer Flavin and the two of them share three daughters: Sophia, who is 30 years old, Sistine, who is 28 years old, and Scarlet, their youngest daughter who is 24 years old.Along with all of this, Stallone has also started giving time to painting. Another statement from the report shared, “At 80, Stallone is a man who concentrates on his art. He has an incredible studio built at his house, and drawing and painting is his life. If he has a character to play, he sketches it out first. He had an amazing retrospective of his work in January and painting is truly his first love—something he’s been doing since he was 11. ”The actor has been part of the art scene for years now. Recently he even had an exhibition of his paintings set up at the Los Angeles Convention Center. His first ever retrospective was held all the way back in January last year at Art Palm Beach. A press release from the gallery talked about how this was one of the first times the actor showed off the art he had created to the world.“That’s the interesting part: someone who built one of the most recognized personal brands in entertainment deliberately kept a six-decade creative practice separate from it. No merch tie-ins, no licensing play, no Instagram content strategy. Just the work, in private, for sixty years,” they further explained.On the work front, Stallone has been actively featuring in the hit series ‘Tulsa King’ as the lead character, mafia boss Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi.
