India’s sports business ecosystem to converge at TOI SFI Expo-2026

NEW DELHI: As India accelerates its preparations for the 2030 Commonwealth Games and strengthens its bid to host the 2036 Olympic Games, the country’s sports industry will come together under one roof at the TOI Sports Fitness and Infrastructure Expo-2026, billed as India’s premier business-to-business sports exhibition. The event will be held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from July 30-Aug 1.Backed by the Union ministry of youth affairs and sports (MYAS) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the event aims to bring together policymakers, sports federations, investors, technology firms, manufacturers, educational institutions and infrastructure developers to discuss the next phase of India’s sporting growth.While Delhi is going to serve as the Host State Partner this time, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Goa, Haryana, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana and Manipur will participate as State Sports Partners, underlining the increasing role of states in building the country’s sporting ecosystem.More than 200 exhibitors are expected to showcase over 1,000 products and services spanning sports infrastructure, equipment, technology, athlete performance, fitness, athleisure, venue development and simulation training.Interactive activity zones featuring ice skating, artificial turf demonstrations and racing experiences are also planned to give visitors a hands-on experience of emerging sports technologies.

The three-day conference will feature keynote addresses, fireside chats, panel discussions and masterclasses on subjects ranging from sports infrastructure and investment to governance, fan engagement, sports science, athlete wellness and public-private partnerships.Union sports minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, minister of state Raksha Khadse, Olympic shooter and BJP MLA Shreyasi Singh, Odisha sports minister Suryabanshi Suraj, Department of Youth Affairs and Sports joint secretary R Vineel Krishna and industry leaders including Jalaj Dani, Vinit Karnik, Yannick Colaco, Sunny Malik and Joy Bhattacharjya are among the confirmed speakers.
