Frankie Valli cancels his ‘The Last Encores’ farewell tour

Frankie Valli cancels his 'The Last Encores' farewell tour, citing health reasons: 'I’m so sorry to disappoint'

Frankie Valli, the ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’ hitmaker, has officially cancelled his ‘The Last Encores’ farewell tour of 2026. Focusing on his health, the 92-year-old has decided to take a short pause from live performances. The singer announced his decision on social media, adding that he looks forward to meeting his concertgoers again after his health improves. Here’s a closer look at Frankie Valli’s temporary pause on the live tour.

Frankie Valli announces hiatus from tour

Valli, the frontman of the group Four Seasons, has been one of the leading members of the music industry who defined the 1960s with his falsetto skills. In an Instagram post of him performing live on stage, he captioned, “I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health.” However, he asked the fans to keep their hopes high as he will meet them soon. “I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes.”Valli’s decision to cancel the tour and not postpone comes from the thought that he does not know how long the pause will be while he regains his health, according to Variety. “Promoters want to prolong things and not give people their money back,” the outlet said. The ‘Rag Doll’ singer does not wish to keep rescheduling the shows, as the process might hurt the people who have bought the tickets. While he has rarely taken any time out from performing live, Valli seeks to get back on stage in 2027 after recovering for six months. The shows were previously going to be held in April, but they were pushed to the summer and fall. He last performed on February 22, 2026, at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula.
