'Their respect for Arab cultures...': Fans react as Deepika Padukone wears hijab, Ranveer Singh sports long beard in new ad

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their first public appearance as parents in a new ad, showcasing a different look and engaging in playful banter. The ad, set in Abu Dhabi, highlights serene spots and personal reflections. Fans reacted positively, particularly to Deepika’s appearance with a hijab, praising their respect for Arab cultures.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who were last seen together on screen in Singham Again, made their first professional appearance together after becoming parents. They featured in an ad together where they were seen sporting a different look altogether. And fans just can’t stop gushing over the couple.

Playful banter at the museum

The ad begins with Ranveer admiring an ancient artifact in a museum, saying, “90 AD — can you imagine this level of detailing back then? Sometimes I wonder, what would my pose be if they made a statue of me!” Deepika playfully replies, “You definitely deserve to be in a museum.”Further, Ranveer asks, “Do you ever wonder what we would be like if we grew up somewhere else?” Deepika responds thoughtfully, “Interesting. There are some places that ask us questions we don’t ask ourselves.”As the video continues, Ranveer says, “There are some places that just let us listen. Let me show you…” Deepika adds, “It’s amazing how silence can feel like someone is speaking back.” The ad concludes poetically with Ranveer saying, “It’s just Abu Dhabi. It’s like a pause button,” and Deepika reflecting, “We travel to see the world, but sometimes we end up seeing ourselves.”

Fans react to the ad

As soon as the clip of the ad started doing the rounds on social media, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, ‘She looks amazing with hijab’, another one added, ‘This gorgeous hijab gave a glamorous look to Deepika.’ A fan also commented, ‘Their respect for Arab cultures and her wearing the hijab increases my love for her.’Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika reunited recently at the airport. Pictures and videos of them sharing a warm hug and brief conversation have been doing the rounds on the internet.
