Eric André says he got his OTT account restored because of ‘Little Brother’: ‘I talked to people very high up’

Eric André is getting candid about his everyday life. In a recent interview, the comedian and actor revealed that he had been locked out of his OTT account for years and had completely lost access to it. To continue using the platform and watching content, André admitted that he ended up using his ex-partner’s account.

While speaking about his latest film, Little Brother, the actor told People that he had been locked out of his account for years. Since the film was being released on Netflix, André shared that he finally managed to regain access after speaking to senior officials at the company.He said, “The only reason I got back on my account that I was locked out of for years is that I made this movie and I talked to people very high up in Netflix to get back in. Yeah, I was literally just shy of asking Ted.”The actor further revealed that because he no longer had access to his own account, he had been using his ex-partner’s account until he landed the role in Little Brother.

Eric André talks about working with John Cena in ‘Little Brother’

During the interview, André also opened up about working alongside John Cena and how he became part of the film.Speaking about Cena, André said, “John’s the best. He’s a GOAT. He’s goated, man. He can do it all — comedy, drama, wrestling. Yeah, we went method for this one, and it got a little bromantic.” He added that he and Cena shared a “big brother-little brother” dynamic on set, making the experience even more memorable for him.In another interview with People, John Cena also praised André and the film, saying, “I have not laughed out loud so much in as long as I can remember. If you need a refresher course or if you haven’t seen it, The Eric André Show is pretty crazy. And when I read the script [for Little Brother], it’s absolutely for Eric, and he just kind of needed a sounding board for his jokes, and I am happy to be that sounding board.”
