Did Yuzvendra’s sister take a dig at Dhanashree

Did Yuzvendra Chahal's sister take a dig at Dhanashree Verma in her Bhai Dooj post? Here's what she wrote!

Yuzvendra Chahal’s sister, Kenaa Dwivedi, recently made headlines and it’s for a heartfelt Instagram post that appears to be an indirect reference to his former wife, Dhanashree Verma. Sharing a note on the occasion of Bhai Dooj, Kenaa praised her brother for his respect towards women and his ability to maintain silence even when faced with negativity. She wrote, “You’re also the man who truly respects women, the one who addresses every woman as ‘ma’am,’ who protects the dignity of every soul around him, and who chooses silence when the world turns mean.”

Kenaa added that people who truly know Yuzvendra can feel his protective energy and warmth, and expressed gratitude for the guidance and laughter he has shared with her. The timing of her post coincides with the conclusion of Dhanashree Verma’s reality show , where she spoke candidly about her marriage, engagement, and eventual separation from Chahal.

Dhanashree verma opens up

During her stint on the show Rise and Fall, Dhanashree revealed details about her relationship with Chahal. She went on explaining how their marriage began as a blend of love and arranged union. She described Chahal’s certainty about their relationship and contrasting it with her own initial hesitation. Dhanashree stated that she got convinced due to the amount of love that was poured into the whole process. “I started seeing subtle changes in his behaviour… my problem is that I love giving too many chances… But eventually, I got done with it,” she said.

Cryptic social media post from Yuzvendra

Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal recently shared a cryptic Instagram story referencing a Delhi High Court verdict on alimony. The post reads in Hindi, “Maa Kasam Khao Nahi Paltoge iss Decision Seh.” It roughly translates to “You won’t go back on this decision,S wear on your mother.” This caption from Yuzvendra was seen as a subtle dig at Dhanashree and the ruling.
