Did Sharvari’s rising fame lead to her split with Sunny?

Did Sharvari's rising fame lead to her split with Sunny Kaushal? Report

Sharvari’s soaring popularity reportedly played a role in the split from Sunny Kaushal

Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari, who allegedly began dating on the sets of Kabir Khan’s ‘The Forgotten Army’ in 2020, reportedly parted ways in 2025. As per the reports, a growing imbalance in their respective film careers played a significant role in the split. Let’s learn more about it in detail.

Sharvari’s soaring popularity reportedly played a role in split from Sunny Kaushal

Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari first crossed paths on the sets of Kabir Khan’s mini-series ‘The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye’ (2020), and their on-screen chemistry soon translated into a real-life relationship. At the time, both were considered promising talents with bright futures ahead of them. However, while the show received decent ratings, it failed to make a lasting commercial impact.According to the Free Press Journal report, as Sunny struggled to find consistent commercial footing, Sharvari’s star rose rapidly. The report stated, “Sharvari is more famous than Sunny today. So, it kind of made things awkward between the two. And it is one of the reasons that got them to go their separate ways in 2025.”As of now, a reconciliation between Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari appears unlikely, with the report suggesting the shift in their respective film fortunes may have permanently altered the dynamic between them.

Vedang Raina enters the picture

Following her reported split from Sunny, Sharvari’s name has since been linked to actor Vedang Raina, her co-star in the recently released romantic partition drama ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’. Although the film has underperformed at the box office, collecting approximately Rs 10 crore in its first six days, the pairing of Sharvari and Vedang has caught significant media attention. Both actors have remained tight-lipped about the nature of their relationship; however, the report suggested that there is a close friendship between the two. Vedang himself recently parted ways with actress Khushi Kapoor and is rumoured to share a special bond with Sharvari.

More about Sharvari

The actress is all geared up for the release of her next, ‘Alpha’, co-starring Alia Bhatt. The movie is slated to hit theatres on July 3, 2026.
