‘Dhurandhar’ singer Jasmine slammed for arriving 3 hours late for concert, lip sycing at live show

'Dhurandhar' singer Jasmine Sandlas faces severe backlash for turning up 3 hours late for Hyderabad concert: 'Then you came and lip-synced at a live show'

Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas has come under fire after several attendees of her Hyderabad concert alleged that the event was poorly managed and failed to meet expectations. Jasmine, who recently sang a number of tracks for ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ performed at Quake Arena in Hyderabad on June 27. However, many concertgoers claimed that she arrived almost three hours late and allegedly lip-synced during her performance.Apart from criticising the singer, attendees also blamed the event organisers for poor management, lack of communication and the long delay. Several social media users even described the event as “a new way of scamming people.” One attendee, Instagram user Abhiruchi Gupta, shared a detailed post expressing her disappointment. Calling herself a fan of Jasmine Sandlas, she said the concert turned out to be a frustrating experience.“The show was supposed to start at 8 pm @jasminesandlas you came at 11:20 with no acknowledgement or apology at all ?? THREE HOURS LATE !!! And then you come and lip sync, literally what, on a live show??? Then leave abruptly at end, without any thank you, sorry or anything at all!!” she wrote. She further added that she would never recommend Jasmine’s concerts to anyone, calling it “a very bad experience” and “my worst experience of a live performance.” Soon, several others who claimed to have attended the concert shared similar experiences in the comments. One user wrote, “Terrible experience! We waited from 8 to 11.30 and then left since we had a long way to travel back. There was no intimation about the delay. The managerial staff is the worst, with the rudest attitude. People should be warned about how Quake events are scams of the worst kind.”Another commented, “Indeed, very bad experience and pathetic management!”A third user alleged, “Every @quakearenahyd show begins 3 hours late. EVERY FU****G SHOW at Quake. I am so glad I skipped this even when I wanted to go so bad.”Another attendee simply described it as a “super flop show.”The incident has sparked conversations online about the importance of punctuality at live events, better communication with audiences and the responsibility of organisers to handle delays professionally. Many felt that if there was a genuine reason for the delay, attendees should have been informed in advance. So far, neither Jasmine Sandlas nor the organisers of the Hyderabad concert have responded publicly to the allegations. At present, the claims are based on social media posts shared by people who said they attended the event.Jasmine Sandlas is known for her popular Punjabi songs and has also sung several Bollywood tracks. However, the backlash surrounding her Hyderabad concert has left many fans seeking an explanation from both the singer and the event organisers.
