Director officially denied link to soldier’s life

Aditya Dhar has now clarified the rumours. Madhur Sharma, Major Mohit’s brother, tagged the director on social media and asked if the film was based on the undercover spy. Aditya Dhar responded, “Hi, sir – our film Dhurandhar is not based on the life of braveheart Major Mohit Sharma AC(P) SM. This is an official clarification.”He further added, “I assure you, if we do make a biopic on Mohit sir in the future, we will do it with full consent and in complete consultation with the family, and in a way that truly honours his sacrifice for the nation and the legacy it has left for all of us.” This confirmation puts to rest the speculation linking ‘Dhurandhar’ to Major Mohit Sharma.

Film focuses on fictional spy thriller story

According to Bollywood Hungama, the film is expected to run for around three hours. The report revealed, “Dhurandhar has a vast and expansive storyline. The focus is on Ranveer Singh’s character and what he goes through, while other actors also play crucial parts.
