‘Dhurandhar’ day 23 BO Vs ‘TMMTMTTM’ day 3 (LIVE)

'Dhurandhar' box office collection day 23 Vs 'Tu Meri Main Tera' day 3 (LIVE): The Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna film continues to dominate over Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday's romcom, after crossing Rs 650 crore

‘Dhurandhar’ which has now entered its fourth week is still reigning at the box office, despite other new releases like ‘Avatar Fire And Ash’ and this week’s release, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’. This Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday starrer romcom unfortunately did not even get enough screens due to ‘Dhurandhar’ and the big James Cameron movie running in theatres. However, ‘Avatar Fire And Ash’ is also lagging behind ‘Dhurandhar’. Yet, ‘TMMTMTTM’ had a decent opening on the Christmas day December 25. The film opened at Rs 7.50 crore and had mixed reviews. However, on Friday day 2, it saw a drop in the business and made only Rs 5 crore. However, ‘Dhurandhar’ made Rs 15 crore on Friday, which was its day 21. Now on day 23 for ‘Dhurandhar’ has made Rs 3.91 crore. The total collection ‘Dhurandhar’ is now Rs 651.41 crore. Meanwhile, ‘TMMTMTTM’ has made Rs 0.73 crore till afternoon, according to Sacnilk. The total collection of ‘Tu Meri…’ so far now stands at Rs 13.48 crore. The fourth week is shaping up to be a major contributor, with the potential to add nearly Rs 100 crore nett, thanks to the holiday period and an expected surge in collections towards the weekend. The record for the biggest fourth week currently belongs to ‘Pushpa 2’, which earned roughly ₹50 crore nett. However, given the current trajectory of ‘Dhurandhar’, it appears quite likely that this figure could be comfortably surpassed within the fourth weekend itself. The film also serves as a strong statement to the industry that strategies like discounted ticket pricing, complimentary passes, and promotional offers are unnecessary when audience demand is genuine. Of late, while chasing records, several releases have relied on such tactics to artificially inflate numbers and achieve headline-grabbing milestones. In contrast, the makers of ‘Dhurandhar’ have refrained from any such measures, maintaining premium pricing throughout and allowing organic footfalls to drive its box office impact.
